This commercial concrete edging business generates strong profits through a straightforward, repeatable process. No boxing, no reo, no digging. Just consistent demand and straightforward operation.
Working owner’s profit/earnings – 3-year average $290,000
Operates from a low-cost leased yard (approximately 120 m²). Two shipping containers on-site are joined by a heavy-duty arched canopy that shelters the 10 m truck. Containers are used for storing cement, aggregate, and plant/equipment (including Bobcat). The yard receives aggregate deliveries and serves as the daily base for loading and clean-down. Each afternoon, the truck is pre-loaded with supplies ready for the next morning’s job. On-site, the profiler machine is lowered from the truck, the mix is prepared on board, and then poured directly into the profiler, which follows the marked lines for smooth, continuous edging. When the job’s complete, it’s back to the yard for clean-up and preparation for the next day.
